Everglades to the Coral Reefs: Multigenerational Snorkel and Study, Florida

testad
Explore the Everglades
A big draw of visiting the Florida Keys is experiencing the continental United States' only coral reef. The reef draws thousands of tourists -- especially scuba divers and snorkelers -- from all over the country and the world. The reef's health depends on the health of Florida Bay and the Everglades. These areas are currently experiencing environmental stress that threatens the health of the entire system.

Our MarineLab experience will consist of a series of scientific field programs offered by Marine Resources Development Foundation. Our "classrooms" include coral reefs, mangrove forests, estuaries, and sea grass beds. There will be a schedule of classes followed by a series of snorkeling field trips. Snorkeling equipment and instruction are provided.

Travel Highlights:

  • Learn about the Florida Keys' coral reef
  • Explore the Everglades
  • Take a backcountry boat trip.

Over the years, we've found that these ideals mesh pretty well. Why not join us on a trip and find out for yourself?
